He was born November 19, 1973 in Breese to the
Late Barbara (Husmann) Schulte and Roland Schulte
His father and step mother Roland and Terri
(Ford) Schulte survive in Hillsboro, MO
He married Tammy Sherfy June 10, 2006 at the
First Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL and she survives
Also surviving are step children Ashley (Jason)
Pruitt of Aviston, Christopher Sherfy of Aviston
A step grandson Landon Pruitt
A sister Jessica Schulte of Aviston
Niece Hannah Schulte of Aviston
Father-in-law Roy Sherfy of Granite City
Sisters-in-law Sherri (Charles) Schubert of
Granite City, Sandy (Doug) Jones of Granite City

Preceded in death by his mother, and

Chad was an Officer with the Illinois State
Police He graduated Mater Dei High School in 1991, Kaskaskia
College in 1993, SIUC in 1995 with a degree in Criminal Justice,
SWIC Police Academy in 1997 and the Illinois state Police Academy
June 16, 2002. He was also a former Police Officer for the city of
Trenton and former Police Officer for the City of O’Fallon
Member of St. Francis Church in Aviston,
Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 41, Springfield, IL
Funeral mass of Christian burial will be held
on Wednesday July 5 at 1:30 PM at St. Francis Church in Aviston with
Fr. Daniel Friedman officiating. Interment St. Francis Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 4 from
4 to 8 PM and on Wednesday July 5 from 9 to 1:00 PM at the Moss
Funeral Home in Breese

C.O.P.S. (Concern’s of Police Survivors) and will be received at the
funeral home |
