Elizabeth M. “Betty” Scott 71 of Breese died Wednesday March 4, 2009 at her residence 

She was born September 10, 1937 in Breese to August and Rose (Richter) Voss: they preceded her in death 

She married Don E. Scott December 30, 1958 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and he preceded her in death June 20, 1997  

Also preceded in death by a grandson Liam Hammonds, infant brothers Paul and Virgil Voss 

Survivng are her children Michele (Don) Meddows of Breese, Terry (Scott) Hammonds of Country Club Hills, IL, and John (Mary) Scott of Breese 

3 grandchildren Danielle (Fiancé Rick Bergmann) Scott, Breanne Scott and Michael Scott 

A step grandchild Rachel (Danny) Loeschen 

A brothers John Voss of Carbondale 

sisters Mary Ann (Tony) Diaz of Guadalajara Mexico, Joann (Frank) Dall of Aviston, Pat Maier of Breese, Ruth (Maurice) Eversgerd of Germantown 

Betty was a homemaker, she enjoyed bingo, gardening, sewing, quilting and traveling 

Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday March 7 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Friday March 6 from 4 to 8 PM and Saturday March 7 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to Liam Hammonds memorial foundation, Mater Dei High School or St. Dominic Church and will be received at the funeral home
