Benedict “Dix” Tebbe 88 of Breese died Saturday April 11, 2009 at Breese Nursing Home 

He was born August 16, 1920 in St. Rose to Henry J. and Elizabeth (Trame) Tebbe: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by Brothers Anton, Leo, Emil, Aloys, Otto, Joseph, Tebbe, sisters, Rose, Fredericka, Caroline Tebbe, Christine Nordmann, Elizabeth Ribbing 

Survivng is a sister Marie Detmer of St. Rose 

Sister-in-law Helen Tebbe of Breese 

Numerous nieces and nephews 

Dix was a retired farmhand 

Member of St. Augustine Church in Breese 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday April 15, 2009 at 10:30 AM at St. Augustine Church in Breese with Fr. Ben Stern officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be Tuesday April 14 from 5 to 8 PM and Wednesday April 15 from 8 to 10:15 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home
