Helen E. Bassler, 97, of Trenton died Tuesday August 14, 2007 at Country Side Manor in Aviston 

She was born October 11, 1909 to Louis and Mary (Kraemer) Bassler: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother Delmar Bassler, a sister-in-law Kathlyn Bassler, nephews David Bassler, Phillip Bassler, Timothy Bassler and a niece Penelope Bassler 

Surviving is a nephew Patrick (Patty) Bassler of Trenton 

Niece Jenny Bassler of Alton 

Great nieces and nephew Dawn (Dean Beauchee) Bassler, Lisa (Michael) Cox, Connie (David) Lihs, Ryan Bassler 

Great great nieces and nephews Bekah and Addison Brennan, Hannah and Shelley Cox 

Helen was a waitress at Hanks’ Bowl in Trenton 

Member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and founding member of the J.O.Y. Society 

Funeral service Friday August 17 at 10:00 am at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Mark Buck officiating Interment Trenton cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 16 from 5 to 8 PM and on Friday August 17 from 8 to 10 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ and will be received at the funeral home
