Josephine Brilliant, 80, of Affton Missouri died Thursday March 17, 2005 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese.

 She was born November 19, 1924 in Peoria Ill, to Jake and Katherine (Pullaro) Palermo and they preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Sylvia Szynalski. 

She retired as a clothing salesperson. She was a member of Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church in Affton, MO.

 She is survived by a daughter Roberta  (William) Deters of Breese, 6 grandchildren Brian (Carol) Jones of Seattle, WA, Michelle (Steve) Jackson, Miranda Deters and Katherine Deters all of  Breese, James (Alicia) Deters of Denver CO and Nicholas Deters of Trenton.  She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, a brother Louis (Elizabeth) Palermo of Des Peres, Missouri, a sister Dorothy Carnaghi of Foristell, Missouri.

 A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 9:30 AM at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church Affton, MO.  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Affton, MO
