Regina C. Buehne, nee Grapperhaus, 92, of St. Rose, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Buehne was born January 11, 1916 in St. Rose to Henry and Catherine (Tebbe) Grapperhaus; they preceded her in death. 

She married Henry Buehne on October 16, 1935 at St. Rose Church; he preceded her in death on February 8, 1976. 

Also preceded in death by a grandson, David Wiegmann; son-in-law, Herbert Wiegmann; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Irene Grapperhaus, Louis and Elvera Grapperhaus, Frank Grapperhaus, and Rem Grapperhaus;  and brothers-in-law, Orville Wagner and Jess Knebel 

Surviving is a daughter, Cecilia Wiegmann of St. Rose. 

6 Grandchildren-Duane (Joyce) Wiegmann of Keyesport, Ron (Lisa) Wiegmann of Breese, Mike (Angie) Wiegmann of Breese, Maurice (Sharon) Wiegmann of St. Rose, Gary (Sherry) Wiegmann of St. Rose, and Jim (Mary Kay) Wiegmann of Breese. 

13-Great-Grandchildren-Alicia (Justin) Henkel, Travis, Katelin, David, Ryan, Alison, Kristen, Craig, Luke, Lexis, Ben, Mitchell, and Emily Wiegmann. 

Sisters, Veronica “Froni” Wagner of Highland, Loretta (Delmar) Knebel of Pierron, and Clara Knebel of Pierron. 

Sisters-in-law, Dorothy Grapperhaus of Highland and Mary Ann Grapperhaus of St. Rose 

Regina was a homemaker and also worked in dietary at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland. 

She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, St. Rose Development Club, Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary-Breese, St. Rose Golden Age, and St. Rose and Breese Senior Citizens. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to St. Rose Church Building fund or in the form of Masses and will be received at the funeral home. 

The Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
