Gregory T. Buss 85 of Breese died Sunday May 25, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

He was born January 3, 1923 in Johannesburg TWP to Michael and Catherine (Schulte) Buss: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a son Gerard Buss, brothers-in-law Alvin and Quinton Pingsterhaus, sister-in-law Loretta Pingsterhaus 

He married Cecilia Pingsterhaus May 7, 1947 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and she survives in Breese 

Also Survivng is a daughter-in-law Janet Buss of Beckemeyer 

Grandchildren Jessica (James) Hopkins, Jolene (Matt) Kohnen and Jeffrey Buss 

Brothers Leo (Mary Ellen) Buss of Breese, Norbert (Dorothy) Buss of Lively Grove 

Sisters Mary Ann (Jerome) Heckenkemper of New Baden, Bernadine (Linus) Meier of Albers 

Brothers-in-law Raymond (Imelda) Pingsterhaus of Beckemeyer, Ralph Pingsterhaus of Breese 

Sisters-in-law Regina (Wilfred) Emig of Bartelso, Rosina (George) Hollenkamp of Aviston, Rita (friend Blackie) Ottensmeier of Trenton 

Gregory was retired from farming 

Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, Breese Senior Citizens and Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869 

Funeral mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 27 from 4 to 9 PM and on Wednesday May 28 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Research or American Heart Association and will be received at the funeral home 

Breese Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary Tuesday May 27 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home
