Robert P. “Bob” Cummins, 83, of Breese, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at Caring First Inc. in Breese. 

Mr. Cummins was born October 28, 1923 in East Prairie, MO to James and Bertha (Nunn) Cummins; they preceded him in death. 

Also preceded in death by brothers Gordon and Edward Cummins. 

He married Wanda Hostmeyer on April 21, 1984 in St. Charles, MO; she survives in Breese. 

Also surviving is a son Roger (Chris) Cummins of Garland, TX and a daughter Michelle Hostmeyer of O’Fallon, MO. 

2 Grandchildren, Jeff (Tracy) Cummins and Kelly (Brent) Merritt 

2 Great-Grandchildren, Haylee and Hayden Merritt 

Sisters-in-law, Sue Cummins of Valley Park, MO, Judy (Larry) Ratermann of Breese and Sandie (Dennis) French of Highland, and a brother-in-law Don (Sandra) Hostmeyer of Breese. 

Numerous Nephews and Nieces 

Bob is the owner of R & R Shoes, Inc. a Red Wing Shoe affiliate in Florissant and St. Peters, MO and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Army. 

Funeral Services will be Monday, November 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Rev. Mark Buck officiating.  Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Breese. 

Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday, November 13, 2006 from 8:30 to the time of services at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
