Donald R. Davis 74 of Trenton died Friday February 6,
2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville
He was born September 18, 1929 in Trenton, IL to Leo and Irene (Pelsue)
Davis: they preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by a son Richard Davis, brothers Harold,
James and Allan Davis
He married Patricia Harpstrite October 20, 1951 at First United
Methodist Church in Trenton and she survives in Trenton
Also surviving is a daughter Donna (Mark) Schuette of Trenton
Daughter-in-law Kim (Dave) Brede of Trenton
5 grandchildren Cara, Mark and Christa Schuette, Donald Davis all
of Trenton Douglas Davis of Venedy
Sisters-in-law Betty Davis, Betty Martin, Sandra (Jerome)
Kohlbrecher all of Trenton, Mary Davis of California
Many nieces and nephews
Donald was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton,
Trenton American Legion post 778 and Trenton VFW post 7983
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 9 at 11:00 am at
Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton with Revs. Bob Marsh and
Bobby Neighbors officiating Interment Trenton Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Sunday Feb. 8 from 4 to 8 PM and on
Monday Feb. 9 from 9 to 10:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
Memorials can be made top Grace Community Baptist church and will
be received at the funeral home
