Lloyd L. Davis, 81, of Trenton, formerly of Millersburg, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at Highland Healthcare Center in Highland 

He was born December 29, 1923 in Madison to Clyde and Essie Mae (Dollins) Davis; they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother Melvin Davis 

He married Glendora Jessup, his wife of 62 years on January 24, 1943 in Madison; she survives in Trenton 

Also surviving is a son Lawrence Davis of Arkansas, and daughters Diana (David) Anelundi and Patricia Davis both of Trenton 

4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren 

A sister Wilma June (Earl) Rains of Pomona  

Lloyd retired as a truck driver for MC Slater in Granite City 

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pocahontas 

Funeral service will be Monday, November 7, 2005 at 11 AM at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Michael May officiating.  Interment will follow in Hug Cemetery, Millersburg 

Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2005 from 9 to 11 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice or to the Highland Healthcare Center and will be received at the funeral home
