Bernadine C. Emig 90 of Trenton died Monday January 29, 2007 at Carlyle Health  Care Center in Carlyle, IL 

She was born November 18, 1916 in Aviston to Henry and Catherine (Rakers) Schleper: they preceded her in death 

She married Aloysius “Oliver” Emig October 29, 1940 at St. Mary Church in Trenton and he preceded her in death July 8, 1979 

Also preceded in death by brothers George, Tony and Herman Schleper, a sister Josephine Rehkemper 

Surviving are son Elmer (Louise) Emig of Highland, Charles (Arlene) Emig of Trenton 

A daughter Rita Emig of Atlanta GA 

11 grandchildren Brenda (Kirk) Hohmann, Gary (Laura) Emig, Kevin (Cindy) Emig, Eric (Bridgette) Emig Bruce Emig, Anthony Emig, David Emig, Stephan (Shelley) Kerwin, Brian Kerwin, Patrick Kerwin, Laura (Joe) Worker 

13 great grandchildren Austin, Garrett, Ashley Hohmann, Mason, Madison, Dominick and Ethan Emig, Justin, Sarah and Dalen Kerwin, Nicholas, Alaina and Keith Worker 

A brother Albert Schleper of Trenton 

Sisters Christine Hilmes of Trenton, Sr. Teresa Schleper PHJC of Donnelson IN, Sr. Georgine Schleper PHJC of Carlyle 

Bernadine was a homemaker 

Member of St. Mary Church and Altar Sodality in Trenton, Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718 

Funeral mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery 

Visitation will beheld on Wednesday January 31 from 4 to 9 PM and on Thursday February 1 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to the donors; choice and will be received at the funeral home

Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary Wednesday at 7 Pm at the funeral home
