Wilfred P. Emig 93 of Bartelso died Monday August 25, 2008 at his residence 

He was born June 14, 1915 in Trenton to Elmer and Mary (Bugger) Emig: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a grandson Christopher Emig, a brother Oliver Emig, a sister Marie Heldorfer, brothers-in-law Al Heldorfer, Quintin Pingsterhaus, Alvin Pingsterhaus, Gregory Buss, Marcellus Ottensmeier, sisters-in-law Marie Emig, Bernadine Emig, Loretta Pingsterhaus 

He married Regina Pingsterhaus April 16, 1947 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and she survives in Bartelso 

Also surviving are his children Jim (Dee) Emig of Bartelso, Judy (Cliff) Goestenkors of Damiansville, Alan (Stacey) Emig of Trenton, Ruth (John) Kauling of Carlyle 

9 grandchildren Lindsey (friend Mark Kuhls) Emig, Amanda and Bailey Emig, Cory (Andra) Goestenkors, Kara and Ryan Goestenkors, Logan Emig, Teal and Brandon Kauling

Brothers-in-law Ray (Imelda) Pingsterhaus of Beckemeyer, Ralph Pingsterhaus of Breese

Wilfred was a retired grain farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman 

Member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso, Knights of Columbus council #4745 Bartelso 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday August 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso with Fr. Henry Fischer officiating Interment St. Cecilia Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 27 from 4 to 9 PM and Thursday August 28 from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
