Jim Essenpreis 84 of Breese died Wednesday September 15, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese

 He was born Sept, 1, 1920 in Highland to Erwin and Margaret (Wolters) Essenpreis: they preceded him in death

 Also preceded in death by  Grandson Gerad Essenpreis-Wellen, brothers Erwin and Arthur Essenpreis, sisters, Betty Baxter, Juanita Peltes, Estelle “Nooks” Deien

 He married Dorothy Rolfingsmeyer October 18, 1947 in St. Louis, MO and she survives in Breese

 Also surviving is a daughter Sandy (Jim Schrage) Essenpreis of Boulder

 A son Dale (Helen) Essenpreis of Breese

 5 grandchildren Angela (Djamel) Guellil, Craig Hoerchler, Brett Ann, Brad and Luke Essenpreis

 2 great Grandchildren Jeanette and Sabrina Guellil 

A brother Sylvester “Smokey” Essenpreis of Breese

 Sisters; Mary Jane Tracy of Odin, Margie Childerson of Greenville

 Jim was a retired Laborer and an army veteran of WWII

 Member of Laborers Local 581 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Sept. 18, 2004 at 10 am at Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Pastor W. Dale Starr officiating. Interment St. John Cemetery, Breese

 Visitation will be held on Friday Sept. 17 from 4 to 9 PM and on Saturday Sept. 18 from 8 to time of Services at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

 Memorials can be made to his grandchildren’s educational fund and will be received at the funeral home
