Evelyn C. Ess, 93, of Breese died Sunday January 7, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

She was born August 25, 1913 in Breese to Henry and Mary (Loddeke) Goevert: they preceded her in death 

She married Alfred Ess November 20, 1937 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and he preceded her in death April 9, 2003 

Also preceded in death by brothers Harry, Paul and Leo Goevert, sisters Irene Goevert, Josephine Goevert, Bertha Goevert and Margaret Malina 

Surviving are her sons Ronald (Pat) Ess of Manchester, MO, James Ess of Breese, Richard (Nancy) Ess of Breese 

5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren 

Evelyn was a homemaker 

Member of St. Dominic church in Breese 

Private funeral service and burial in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese
