Lester D. “Scuds” Eversgerd 53 of Germantown died Sunday January 25, 2009 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO 

He was born March 30, 1955 in Breese to Joseph and Helen (Quinn) Eversgerd: they preceded him in death 

Surviving is a daughter Raquel (Kermit) Anderson of Belleville 

A granddaughter Olivia Anderson 

Brothers Joe “Spivans” (Gayle) Eversgerd of Breese, Bob (special friend Blanche Drake) Eversgerd of Germantown, Burt (Lisa) Eversgerd of Germantown 

A sister Jean (Leroy) Diesen of Germantown 

Nieces and nephews Carl (Laura) Diesen, Anna (friend Justin Marshall) Followell, Curt (Melissa) Eversgerd, Kristen and Kim Eversgerd, Tracy (Kenny) Becker, Chad, Josh and Zach Eversgerd 

Lester was retired from Canadian National Railroad and an avid Dodger baseball fan. 

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday January 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Church, Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating Interment St. Boniface Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 27 from 4 to 9 PM and Wednesday January 28n from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Memorials can be made to American Caner Society or Donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
