Cletus
A. “Buck” Fehrmann, 70, of Breese died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006 at his
home.
He was
born June 29, 1936 at Bartelso, the son of Irene (Hilmes) and August
Fehrmann. On August 8, 1959 he married Pat Ratermann at St. Dominic
Catholic Church, Breese.
Cletus
retired after 40 years of service to Ameren UE. He had previously
served in the United States Army from 1955 through 1957. He was a
member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers, the Knights of Columbus, and a lifetime
member of the Jaycees. He served as a National Director and State
Vice-President of the Jaycees.
Cletus
enjoyed spending time with his family engaged in spirited discussion
on a wide range of topics of his choosing. He was surrounded by his
family at the time of his passing.
Survivors include his wife Pat; four daughters, Shari Fehrmann of
Breese, Donna (Glenn) Castiglione of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Melinda
(Mark) Bremley of Edwardsville, and Patti (Robert) Klemczak of
Schaumburg; two sons, Timothy Fehrmann of St. Louis, and Ben
Fehrmann (Ginger Fewell) of St. Louis;
Six
grandchildren, Jenna Cohoon, Kourtney Klemczak, Lisa Castiglione,
Nolan Braidlow, Holden Bremley, and Celeste Bremley;
Six
sisters, Irene (Andrew) Huelsmann of Breese, Betsy (Joseph) Hempen
of Breese, Frances (Frank) Peters of Carlyle, Martha (Paul)
Wellinghoff of Alton, Cleo (Jack) Wilken of Bartelso, and Theda (Severen
Wellinghoff) Fehrmann of Newburgh, Indiana;
Four
brothers, Paul (Willene) Fehrmann of Highland, August (Grace)
Fehrmann of Damiansville, Tony (Cheryl) Fehrmann of Breese, and
Thomas Fehrmann of Urbana;
Sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Jane Ratermann ASC of Ruma, Bernadeane
(Jack) Richter of Breese, and Virginia Ratermann of Breese.
Brothers-in-law, Father Jerome Ratermann of Sparta, Mark (Barbara)
Ratermann of Glendale, Arizona, Dan Ratermann of Branson, Missouri,
and Simon Plebanek of Granite City.
He was
preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Fehrmann, and a
sister Rita Dressel.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday November 21,
2006 and from 8:00 to 9:45 AM Wednesday November 22, 2006 at Moss
Funeral Home in Breese. Father Pat Peter will preside at the 10
a.m. mass at St. Dominic Church Wednesday November 22, 2006.
Interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery.
The Breese K of
C will pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral
home.
Memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay for Life and will be
accepted at the funeral home. |
