Josie Ford 51 of New Memphis died Monday December 11, 2006 at her residence 

She was born February 26, 1955 in Highland to Morris and Toots (Drees) Draper: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law Edward and Mary Ann Ford 

Josie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Josie was a bartender at Ford’s Brothers Tavern in New Memphis and member of the New Memphis Community Club 

She married Ed Ford November 22, 1980 at Zion United Church of Christ in New Baden and he survives in New Memphis 

Also surviving are her sons Mike (Doris) Ford of Friendswood, TX, Brian (Chrissy) Draper of Effingham, Tom (Staci) Ford of Trenton 

A daughter Sara Ford and boy friend Joel Beer of New Memphis 

12 grandchildren 

Brothers Al Draper of St. Louis, MO, Terry Draper of Trenton, Tom (Shelly) Draper of Ottawa, Steve (Karla) Draper of Summerfield 

Sisters Jeanne (Jerry) Reidelberger of Highland, Julie (Herb) Markus of Jacksonville, FL, Kady Mueller of Collinsville 

Brothers-in-law Fred (Annette) Ford of New Memphis, Ken (Karen) Ford of New Baden, Roger (Betty) Ford of Trenton, Bob (Jeanette) Ford of Trenton 

Sister-in-law Karen (Jim) Brown of Trenton 

Numerous nieces and nephews and friends and extended family 

The family wishes to thank her special friends for their support and care, Nancy Santel, Brenda Richter, Becky Santel and Carol Singler. They would also like to thank the Hospice of Southern Illinois for their care and support 

Memorial service will be held on Thursday December 14 at 6:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating 

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 14 from 4 to 6:30 pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to her family and will be received through the funeral home
