Marie F. Gebke 93 of Breese died Saturday April 4, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

She was born July 8, 1915 in Breese to Herman and Mary (Kerkenmeier) Pollmann they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by, a daughter in infancy, Martha Jane Merian, a son Lawrence Merian, a granddaughter, Debbie Caputo, brothers Henry, August, Albert Pollmann, sisters Ann Pollmann, Theresa Pollmann, Rose Cusic, Margaret Zinn 

She married Raymond Merian Sr. and later divorced 

She married Frank Gebke on October 31, 1982 and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1983 

Surviving is a daughter Sue (Burnell) Laux of Breese and a son Raymond “Butch” (Dorothy) Merian of Breese 

Grandchildren Robyn (David) Snearly, Terry Wainscott, Christopher (friend Bobbie Schad) Laux, Katie (Fiancée Travis Lowell) Laux, Theodore “Scott” (Andi) Merian, Alison Merian, Bruce (Laurie) Caputo, Brian Caputo 

Great grandchildren Marcus, Nickole and Zak Snearly, Cody Wainscott, Austin Laux, Luke and Mara Merian, Gabrielle, Matthew, Christopher and Zachary Caputo 

Marie was retired from Artex International in Highland and a homemaker 

Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday April 7, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Ben Stern officiating,  Interment St. Dominic - St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, April 7 from 8:00 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to All Saints Academy or Mater Dei High School and will be received at the funeral home
