John P. Goebel, 23, of St. Rose, IL and a student at
Arizona State University died Wednesday March 17, 2004 near Zion
National Park in Southwest Utah
He was born December 10, 1980 in Belleville to Bernard and
Barbara (Talleur) Goebel they survive in St. Rose
Also surviving is a brother Ryan Goebel of Kameman, Malaysia
Also surviving is a sister Renee Goebel of Edwardsville
Also surviving are his maternal grandparents Paul and Dolores (Wellen)
Talleur of Highland
Also surviving are many Aunts, Uncles and cousins
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lawrence and Agnes
(Luitjohan) Goebel
John was a student at Arizona State University and was to
graduate in May of 2004
He was a Mater Dei High School Graduate class of 1999
He was a member of St. Rose Church
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 2 PM at
St. Rose Church in St. Rose, with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating.
Interment in St. Rose Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2004 from 4 to 9 PM
and on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 from 11AM to 1:30 PM on at the Moss
Funeral Home in Breese
Memorials can be made to St. Rose Church of to the Donor’s
Choice and will be received at the funeral home
