Clarence W. Gruender Jr. 68 of Fairview Heights and formerly of Trenton Died Tuesday Dec. 20, 2005 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville 

He was born June 20, 1937 in Breese, IL to the late Eldena (Burress) Gruender and Clarence W. Gruender Sr. His father survives in Mascoutah 

He married Michelle McClelland February 17, 1999 at St. Peters Cathedral in Belleville and she survives in Fairview Heights 

Also surviving are son Bret (Sheila) Gruender of Highland, Bart (Dawn) Gruender of Trenton 

A daughter Cindy Gruender of Windsor CO 

Step son Sean (fiancée Jennifer Hackbarth) Stephenson of Belleville 

Step daughter Heather (Collin) McConnell of Bloomington 

5 grandchildren Stephanie, Allison, Bart, Christine and Luke Gruender 

A brother Tim (Sandy) Gruender of Decatur 

Clarence was retired Marketing and Data Systems Manager with Union Pacific Railroad, and retired phone consultant with the IRS 

Member of St. Peters Cathedral in Belleville and U.S. Navy Veteran 

Funeral mass Thursday December 22, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Buerster officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday Dec. 21 from 4 to 9 PM and on Thursday Dec. 22 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral home in Trenton 

Memorials can be made to Family Hospice of Swansea or highland Animal Shelter and will be received at the funeral home
