Dolores J. Hartlage, 80, of Breese died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese 

She was born May 5, 1924 in Beckemeyer to Theodore and Lena (Spihlmann) Hartlage; they preceded her in death

 Also preceded in death by brothers, George and John Hartlage, and sisters, Sr. Althea Hartlage PHJC and Emma Frey

 Surviving is a niece Marilyn Korte of Highland

 Nephews Robert (Terry) Frey and Maurice (Diana) Frey both of Highland, Alan Hartlage and Ronald Hartlage both of O’Fallon 

Great Nieces Nancy (Mark) Tebbe of St. Rose, Stacy (Todd) Warren of South Elgin

 Great Nephews Keith (Brenda) Korte and Kent (Trisha) Korte both of Highland 

Great-Great Nephews Nicholas and Collin Korte and Great-Great Niece Sophia Rose Warren 

Dolores retired as an Inspector at the Wee Walker Shoe Company in Carlyle and was later known as the “Candy Lady at Breese Moto Mart” 

She was a FRIEND TO MANY

 Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church

 Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment will follow at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM and again on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 11 AM to 12:45 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to St. Dominic Church, Mater Dei High School, or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
