Dorothy
M. Haselhorst, nee Laux, 81, of Trenton, died Wednesday, October 25,
2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
Mrs.
Haselhorst was born November
26, 1924 in Beaver Prairie to
Julius and Cecilia (Dumstorff) Laux; they preceded her in death.
She
married Stephen Haselhorst on April 4, 1945 at St. Felicitas
Catholic Church in Beaver Prairie; he preceded her in death on
October 28, 1980.
Also
preceded in death by a son, Tim Haselhorst; a brother, Leonard Laux,
brothers-in-law, Greg Haselhorst, Al Haselhorst, Dick Haselhorst,
Karl Haselhorst, Al Zurliene, Ralph Litteken, Bud Heap, and Vinnie
Voss; sisters-in-law, Marie Zurliene, Gussie Litteken, Louise
Haselhorst, Dorothy K. Haselhorst, and Ellen Haselhorst.
Surviving are her children, Daniel (Barbara) Haselhorst of Trenton,
Tom (Linda) Haselhorst of Herndon, VA, Gary (Linda) Haselhorst of
Glen Carbon, Donna (Mark) Johnson of Breese, and Sandy (Bill)
Timmermann of St. Rose.

Dorothy
was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and
Altar Sodality, Trenton VFW Post 7983 Auxiliary where she was the
current president and a lifetime member, and the St. Joseph Hospital
Auxiliary.
Funeral
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 10:00
AM at St. Mary Catholic
Church in Trenton with Fr.
Vincent Haselhorst and Fr. Jim Dougherty officiating. Interment
will follow in St. Mary
Cemetery,
Trenton.
Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2006 from 4:00-9:00 PM and
again on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 8:00-9:45 AM
at the Moss Funeral Home in
Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Clinton County Relay for Life or St. Mary
Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
Trenton VFW
Auxiliary will hold services at 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. |
