Elenora F. Hermes, nee Hughes, 88, of Trenton, died March 22, 2006
in Columbia, IL. Mrs. Hermes was born
November 29, 1917 in Marydale, IL to Peter and Florence (Ogle)
Hughes; they preceded her in death She
married John W. Hermes on June 19, 1947 at St. Theresa Church in
Marydale; he preceded her in death on February 24, 2003
Also preceded in death by a son Joseph M. Hermes,
sisters & brothers Surviving is a son John
(Karen) Hermes, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Hermes all of Waterloo
4 grandchildren, Ann Hermes, Peter Hermes, Michael
Hermes, and Mark Hermes A brother-in-law,
Ervin Hodapp Numerous nieces, nephews, and
cousins Mrs. Hermes was a Homemaker
She was a member of St. Mary Church and Altar
Sodality, Trenton VFW Auxiliary. Funeral
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:30
AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty
officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2006 from
5:00-8:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society
and will be received at the funeral home |
