Max J. Hoffmann, 84, of Trenton,
died Friday October 28, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital Highland.
He was an employee of the City of
Trenton, and a life member of the Mascoutah Moose.
He was born December 15, 1920 in New
Baden to Frank and Martha (John) Hoffmann. They preceded him in
death.
He married Leona Trippel November
15, 1945 in Belleville and she survives in Trenton.
He is also survived by a brother
Fred Hoffmann of Cedar Falls
Iowa and a sister Clara Ballard of New Baden.
He was preceded in death by brothers
Paul, Gus, Frank, Henry, Otto, Carl, and Erwin Hoffmann and sisters
Ida Witt and Emma Klein.
Funeral services will be held Monday
Oct. 31 at 10 am at Moss Funeral Home in
Trenton
with Rev. Thomas Perl officiating. Interment will be in Trenton
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Moss funeral home in Trenton
Sunday from 4 to 9 PM and Monday from 8 to 10 am. Memorials can be
made to St. John United Church of Christ or donor’s choice and will
be received at the funeral home. |
