Ronald W. Huegen, 69, of Trenton, died Monday, August 18, 2008 at his residence. 

He was born June 22, 1939 in Albers to Edwin Huegen and Josephine (Albers) Huegen-Meyer; they preceded him in death. 

Also preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Huegen; a grandson, Nicolas Taylor; step-father, Richard Meyer; step-brother, Jerry Meyer. 

He married Ruth Holtmann on October 27, 1959 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers; she survives in Trenton. 

Also surviving are his children, Carl Huegen of Trenton, Mark (Jeannine) Huegen of Trenton, Ronda (Steven) Vaughn of O’Fallon, Coleen (Rick) Taylor of Breese, and Todd (fiancée Melissa Bugger) Huegen of Highland. 

10 Grandchildren-Robert and Jennifer Holtz, Ashley Huegen, Meghan, Logan and Taylor Vaughn, Kayla and Brooke Taylor, Damon Wilderman, and Tylor Huegen. 

Ronald was a retired dairy farmer and was also a truck driver for Kostelac Grease Truck Service in Millstadt. 

He was a member of Summerfield Lions Club, Summerfield Fire Department, and a past member of St. Mary Church in Trenton. 

Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Fr. Louis Koehr officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 8:00-10:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to Family Hospice or To the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
