Stanley H. Jagora, 79, of Breese, and formerly of Watertown, NY, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese. 

Mr. Jagora was born January 29, 1929 in Nanticoke, PA to Stanley F. and Anna (Stavinski) Jagora; they preceded him in death. 

He married Betty Hayes on January 2, 1954 in Nanticoke, PA; she preceded him in death on November 3, 1993. 

Also preceded in death by Half-Brothers, Alexander, Victor, Edward, and Henry Butkiewicz, and Half-Sisters, Lillian Groholski, Helen Kotolak, and Eleanor Plaza. 

Surviving are his children Steven (Petra) Jagora of Summerville, SC, Jody (David) Woodruff of Torrington, CT, and Betty-Jo (Dan Ruppel) Jagora of Breese. 

6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. 

Stanley retired as a custodian for the United Postal Service and was a PFC in the United States Army serving 1952-1953. 

He was a member of the Polish National Catholic Church, Breese American Legion Post 252, and a Lifetime Member of the DAV. 

Cremation was held and Interment is to take place in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown, NY.  

Memorials can be made to Breese American Legion Post 252 or The D.A.V. memorial program and will be received through the Moss Funeral Home in Breese handling local arrangements
