Robert H. “Bob” Jansen 79 of Rural Carlyle died Thursday November 3, 2005 at Carlyle Health Care Center in Carlyle

He was born July 11, 1926 in Albers, IL to Herman and Regina (Kuhl) Jansen: they preceded him in death

He married Elvera Deien September 7, 1955 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and she preceded him in death February 22, 1984

He then married Betty Isaak-Diekmann February 1, 1991 at St. Theresa Church in Marydale and she survives in Carlyle

Also preceded in death by a son Glen Jansen and a infant granddaughter Barbara Jansen

Surviving are sons Gary (Marcia) Jansen of Beckemeyer, Allen Jansen of Breese, Kenneth Jansen of Carlyle, Larry Jansen of Beckemeyer, Steven (Jennifer) Jansen of Bartelso, Kevin (Laura) Jansen of Beckemeyer

A daughter Barbara (Glenn) Klostermann of Troy

15 grandchildren

 Brothers Jerome (Dolly) Jansen and Jim (Virginia) Jansen both of Carlyle

Bob was retired from Prairie Farms in O’Fallon, retired farmer and bus driver for Padfield Bus. He was An Army Veteran of the Korean War

Member of St. Felicitas  Church in Beaver Prairie, Breese American Legion Post 252, Teamsters Local 50 in Belleville, Concordia Saengerchor

Funeral Mass Monday November 7, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick peter officiating interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine cemetery

Visitation will be held on Sunday Nov. 6 from 4 to 9 PM and Monday Nov. 7 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, Diabetes Foundation and will be received at the funeral Home Breese

American Legion Members will hold services Sunday Nov. 6 at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home
