September 27, 2003 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese
She was born May 17, 1908 in Breese to Leo Krebs and Regina (Klutho)
Krebs-Richter; they preceded her in death
She married Vincent M. Altepeter on August 7, 1938 and he
preceded her in death on July 7, 1948
She then married Edward G. Appel in May of 1954 and he preceded
her in death on August 25, 1954
She then married Vincent B. Kohrs in June of 1957 and he preceded
her in death on June 5, 1990
Also preceded in death by brothers Paul and Robert Krebs
Survivng is a son Gerald (Marcia) Altepeter of Belleville
A daughter Mary Beth "Mitzie" (Dennis) Fischer of
Breese
A Step-Son Arthur (Carolyn) Altepeter of St. Louis, MO
5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren
Sisters Dorothy Reed and Betty Meissner of Phoenix, AZ
Marie was a homemaker
She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and Ladies
Sodality, Breese American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary where she was
the past president and district director, St. Joseph Hospital Breese
Auxiliary, and Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718
Funeral Mass will be Monday September 29, 2003 at 11 AM at St.
Dominic Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.
Interment will be in St. Dominic~St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese
Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2003 from 9 to 10:45 AM
at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese
Memorials can be made to All Saints Academy and will be received
at the funeral home
