Louis T. “Bud” Korte Jr., 64, of Trenton died Saturday April 14, 2007 at his residence 

He was born October 26, 1942 in Highland, IL to Louis and Noretta (Wehrle) Korte Sr.; they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a son Michael Korte, grandson Cody Korte, father-in-law Ralph O. Renth, brother-in-law Mark Forth 

He married Mary Jane Renth September 24, 1988 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah and she survives in Trenton 

Also surviving are sons Rick (Tina) Korte of Summerfield, Craig (Dana) Korte of New Baden 

Step children Sandra (Bob) Cunningham of O’Fallon, Kenneth (Sonia) Schanz of Bethalto 

11 grandchildren Kris Korte, Melinda Reimo, Ashley Reimo, Courtney Rickhoff, Madeline Rickhoff, Hannah Korte, Kaylee Korte, Steven Korte, Shannon Cunningham, Matthew Schanz and Donna Schanz 

Sisters Pat (Joe) Hagen of Breese, Mary Lue (Lloyd) Rapien of Trenton, Nora “Babe” (Phil) Abernathy of Arvada, CO

Bud was over the road truck driver, and past owner of Bud & Marge’s Tavern in Summerfield and an avid bowler 

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton and retired volunteer of the Summerfield Fire Department 

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. Interment Summerfield Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to the time of services at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton  

Memorials can be made to St. Mary Church or Family Hospice and will be received at the funeral home
