Thomas E. Lampen, 52, of St. Louis,
MO, formerly of Breese, IL passed away at his residence in St.
Louis, MO on November 28, 2005 from prostate cancer.
He was born July 26, 1953 in Breese,
IL to John J. and V. Jane (Schwartz) Lampen; his mother preceded him
in death and his father survives in Breese, IL along with his fiancé
Jinny Mahlandt.
His wife, Lisa (Doe) Lampen, resides
in St. Louis, MO.

Edwardsville and Michael Lampen of St. Louis, MO

Louis, MO and brothers Jack (the late Claire) Lampen of Breese, IL
and Bill (Laurie) Lampen of Highland, IL

Tom attended Quincy College and
graduated from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 1975
with a B.A. in Mass Communication
He started his advertising career in
1978 at the St. Louis Post Dispatch and continued his advancement
with Gannett Newspapers as Advertising Director in Tucson, AZ;
Rockford, IL; Springfield, MO; and Gannett Corporate in Arlington,
VA where he consulted with newspapers nation wide. During his
career with Gannett, Tom was ranked in the top 10 from 95 Gannett Ad
Directors and recognized on numerous occasions for outstanding work
achievements.
Tom also was the former
owner/operator of NACO Printing in Greenville, IL
He was a former member of St.
Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, IL Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing,
cooking, and spending time with his family and friends
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 11 AM at St.
Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter and Fr. Joe
Starmann (St. Louis) officiating. A private interment will be held
at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Carlyle, IL
Family will receive friends on
Wednesday, November 30, 2005 from 3 to 8 PM and again on Thursday,
December 1, 2005 from 8 to 10 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese,
IL
