Leona A. Langenhorst 81 of Bartelso died Monday August 6, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

She was born October 27, 1925 in Albers, IL to Herman and Gertrude (Rademacher) Kassen: they preceded her in death 

She married Bernard Langenhorst May 6, 1947 at St. Bernard Church in Albers; He preceded her in death September 9, 2001 

Also preceded in death by brothers Robert and Vincent Kassen, a sister Loretta Sprehe 

Surviving is a son Robert (Jean) Langenhorst of Bartelso 

Daughters Judith Langenhorst of Salem, Virginia, Marilyn (Robert “Pat”) Winkeler of Bartelso, Dian (Husband Bill Kisting) Langenhorst of Glenview, IL, Jan (Jerome) Ripperda Germantown, Linda (Mark) Valette of Christopher, IL 

13 grandchildren Annette Kleiboeker, Paul Langenhorst, Steve, Sharon, Ken, Lisa and Matt Winkeler, Angie Henrichs, Jim, Jon, Jill Ripperda, Ben and Tony Valette 

11 great grandchildren 

Brothers-in-law Joseph Sprehe and Ray Beer of Germantown 

Sisters-in-law Delores Langenhorst of Carlyle and Bernadette Langenhorst of Germantown 

Leona was a homemaker 

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle, Red Hat Society 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday August 9, 2007 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle with Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Carlyle 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 8 from 4 to 9 PM and on Thursday August 9 from 8 to 10 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Memorials can be made to St. Joseph Hospital and will be received at the funeral home
