She married Edward Leonard may 14, 1930 at St. Bernard Church in Albers and he preceded her in death April 2, 1983

Also preceded in death by a son Richard Leonard, a daughter Patricia Beckhamn, a brother John Albers, and sisters Anna Albers, Bernadine Albers, Catherine Spihlmann and Caroline Albers

Surviving is a son LeRoy (Helen) Leonard of Germantown

A Daughter Alice (Ronald) Cyr of Wilbraham, Mass.

Son-in-law Wayne (Sherri) Beckhamn of Salem

A sister Cecilia Trame of Trenton

15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren

Vera was a homemaker

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Germantown, and Germantown Senior Citizens

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 3, 2003 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. Stephen Humphery officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 2 from 4 to 9 PM and on Friday October 3 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral home in Germantown

Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Church of the American Cancer Society and will be received through the funeral home
