Herbert R. Luginbuhl, 80, of
Trenton, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at his residence
He was born March 16, 1924 in
Trenton to Otto and Lydia (Krop) Luginbuhl; they preceded him in
death
Also preceded in death by a sister,
Betty Neidert, and a sister-in-law, Myrtle Buzzard
He married Della Gene Lebegue on
August 23, 1949 at Bethany Baptist Church, Highland,
IL; she survives in Trenton
Also surviving are daughters,
Kathleen (Bryan) Singler of Worden, Wendy (Keith) Rohling of
Trenton, Donna (Donald) Gramlich of Highland, Jane (Kent) Pirok of
Alhambra, Nancy (Buddy) Woods of St. Charles, MO, and Faye Kuhn of
Troy
12 Grandchildren-Joshua Singler,
Kelly (Gary) Cooper, Kevin Rohling, Stephen Gramlich, Sarah (Jason)
Ralston, Ryan Pirok, Jonathan and Christina Woods, and Jessica and
Tyler Kuhn
Also surviving are Brothers-in-law,
Jack Neidert of San Antonio, TX and Jerry Buzzard of Trenton, and
Sisters-in-law, Lillabelle (Darrel) Steck of Wataga, and Elaine
(John) Goodwin of Dekalb
Herbert was a retired farmer
He was a member of First
Baptist/Grace Community Baptist Church and was an Army Veteran of WW
II where he was a member of 100th (Century) Division
Company A 399 Regiment from October 1944 to August 1946 and was
awarded several Medals including the Bronze Star.
Funeral Service will be Friday,
March 18, 2005 at 10 AM at Grace Community Baptist Church in
Trenton with Pastor Bob Marsh and Rev. Sandra Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March
17, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM and again on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 8
to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
