Clyde L. Monken 82 of Summerfield died Friday August 14, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville 

He was born December 30, 1926 in St. Morgan, IL to Lawrence and Ellen (Reiger) Monken: They preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by a son Stanley Monken, a brother Norman Monken 

He married Jean Herman in Arkansas and she survives in Summerfield 

Also survving is a son Myron Monken of Louisiana 

Grandson Michael Monken of Trenton 

Sisters, Opal Manwaring of St. Morgan, Joyce Geiger of Highland 

Clyde was a retired Laborer 

Member of Laborer’s Local 670 in O’Fallon 

Funeral Service Tuesday August 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Interment College Hills Cemetery, Lebanon 

Visitation Tuesday August 18 from 9 to 11:00 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
