Charlie Mueller, 94, of Germantown,
died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
Mr. Mueller was born February 25,
1914 in Germantown to John and Philomina “Mina” (Felker) Mueller;
they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by brothers,
Ferd Mueller, Slim Mueller, and William “Bill” Mueller, and sisters,
Emma Karhoff, Clara Lange, and Marie McAllister.
He married Leona Beckmann on
October 25, 1958
at St. Mary Church in Belleville and she survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Betty
(Jin) Frerker of Belleville.
5 Grandchildren-Mary Parker of
Fairview Heights, Brenda (Kenny) Voelkerding of O’ Fallon, Nancy
(David) Wilhelm of Belleville, Dana (Chris) Reibling of Normal and
Damian “Kraut” (Lisa) Frerker of Belleville.
8 Great-Grandchildren-Jacob
Voelkerding, Ryan and Anna Wilhelm, Michael and Austin Reibling,
Kyle, Jessica, and Derek Frerker.
Charlie retired as a Molder from the
Mascoutah Foundry and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He was a member of St. Boniface
Catholic Church and Germantown American Legion Post 325.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM
at St. Boniface Catholic Church in
Germantown with Fr. James Buerster
officiating. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, August
30, 2008 from 9:00-10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to St.
Boniface Church or Masses and will be received at the funeral home. |
