Kathleen A. Nelson, nee Heffron, 50, of Breese, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Nelson was born October 22, 1955 in Breese to Roger and Mary (Bolk) Heffron; they survive in Breese. 

She married Richard “Rick” Nelson on November 11, 1977 at St. Augustine Church in Breese; he survives in Breese. 

Also surviving is a son David Nelson of Breese 

A brother, Mark (Mary) Heffron of Trenton and a sister, Marsha (George “Mike”) Ward of Dallas, TX 

Her father-in-law, Richard Nelson of Corning, CA 

Brothers-in-law, Roger (Sheila) Nelson of Piqua, OH and Russell Nelson of Corning, CA 

Her loving dog, Ginger  

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Charlene Duke, , her maternal grandparents, Henry and Pauline (Lager) Bolk, and her paternal grandparents, Glen and Bernice (Ilstrup) Heffron. grandmother-in-law, Velma Schwartz 

Kathleen was a secretary at Scott Air Force Base, a homemaker, and was of the Catholic Faith. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment in St. Dominic/ St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese 

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2006 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Saturday, March 18, 2006 from 8-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
