Curtis A. “Cooter” Pollmann 42 of New Memphis died Sunday July 1, 2007 at his residence. 

He was born July 21, 1964 in Highland to Lawrence “Slim” Pollmann and Irene (Hilpert) Pollmann; His father Slim and his wife Shirley Ann Pollmann survive in Highland. His mother Irene Pollmann survives in New Baden. 

He is also survived by brothers Terry Pollmann of New Memphis, Kris (Fiancée Dawna Pruett) Pollmann of New Baden. 

A sister Pam (Roland) Richter of Aviston. 

Maternal grandmother Marie Hilpert of McAlester OK. 

Niece Megan Richter, Nephew Jacob Richter. 

His special friend Susanne Benavente of New Baden. 

Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Fred Hilpert, paternal grandparents Herman and Wilhelmina Pollmann. 

Cooter was a Journeyman roofer for Kehrer Brothers Roofing. He enjoyed playing washers and shooting pool. 

Member of United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local #2, St. Louis, MO. 

Funeral service Friday July 6, 2007 at 11:00 am at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. Fr. Gene Neff officiating. Interment Resurrection cemetery, New Baden. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 5 from 4 to 8 PM and Friday July 6 from 9 to 11 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
