Marcella C. Rascher 88 of Breese died Monday November 3, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

She was born May 4, 1920 in Breese, IL to Conrad and Mary (Steinmann) Korte: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by brothers, Eugene and Alvin Korte, brother-in-law Harold Emmerich, sisters-in-law Edna Korte, Adele Korte, SR. Bertille Rascher CPPS, SR. Mary Fulgence Rascher CPPS 

She married Aloysius Rascher November 26, 1953 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and he survives in Breese 

Also Survivng is a son Father Joseph Rascher of Caseyville 

A daughter Mary Rascher of Rantoul 

A brother Leo Korte of Breese 

Brother-in-law Leo (Bertille) Rasher of Middlesex NJ 

Sister-in-law Celestine Emmerich of Salisbury, MO 

Many nieces and nephews 

Marcella was retired clerk from the Dime Store in Breese and a clerk at Baulk and Stuever Shoe Store in Breese 

Member of St. Dominic Church and St. Ann Sodality in Breese, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, Breese Senior Citizens and past volunteer with the American Lung Association 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Friday November 7, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Joseph Rascher and Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be Thursday November 6 from 4 to 8 PM and Friday November 7 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials preferred can be made to American Diabetes Association, All Saints Academy, Mater Dei High School or donor’s Choice and will be received at the funeral 

A prayer vigil will be held on Thursday November 6 at 6:00 Pm at the funeral home
