Leodis G. Raterman, nee Reilmann, 93, of Breese, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Raterman was born January 26, 1914 in Breese to Henry and Caecilia (Deien) Reilmann; they preceded her in death. 

She married Ed Raterman on June 10, 1943 in Carlyle; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1984. 

Also preceded in death by a son, Gary Raterman, brothers, Victor Reilmann, Romanus Reilmann, Robert Reilmann, and Bernard Reilmann, and a sister, Luella Willi. 

Surviving is her children Bill Heaver of St. Louis, Bonnie (Dennis) Tabor of Pierron, and Janice (Rick) Beckemeyer of Breese. 

8 Grandchildren-Denise (Brent) Augustin, Becky Tabor, Stacy Tabor, John (Amy) Raterman, Wendy (Robert) Stevenson, Rick T. (Karen) Beckemeyer, Brett Beckemeyer, and Lea (Scott) Patric. 

10 Great-Grandchildren 

A daughter-in-law, Stephanie Raterman of Breese. 

Mrs. Raterman was a former aid at the old St. Joseph Hospital in Breese and also provided in home care for the elderly until she was 86 years of age. 

She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese.  Interment will be in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery at a later date. 

Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2007 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 8:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to St. Dominic Church, St. Joseph Hospital Lights for Scholarship Program, or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
