Jerome G. Richter, 68, of St. Rose,
died Friday, March 24, 2006 at
St.
Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.
Mr. Richter was born November 1,
1937 in Aviston to Theodore and Katherine (Zurliene) Richter, Sr.;
they preceded him in death.
Also preceded in death by a
brother-in-law, Bernard Fuhler.
On May 12, 1962 he married Theresa
Potthast at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland; she survives in
St. Rose.
Also surviving is his children,
Roger Richter of St. Rose, Patty Lengermann and husband Jim of
Highland, Dale Richter and wife Amy of St. Rose, and Julie Wilken
and husband Keith of Bartelso.
12 Grandchildren-Jeff, Jon, and
Regina Lengermann, Brett, Renee, Sydney, Grant, and Lyndsey Richter,
and Brendan, Brock, Olyvia, and Alyse Wilken.
Brothers, Theodore Richter, Jr. and
wife Dolores of St. Rose, and Dennis Richter and wife Rose of
Breese.
Sisters, Bernice Frerker and husband
Leo of Breese, Norma Jansen and husband Ed of Albers, and Mary Jane
Fuhler of St. Rose.
Jerome was a farmer and a truck
driver for Metro-Ag and Wilke Truck Service in St. Rose.
He was a member of St. Rose Church
and Men’s Sodality, Clinton County Farm Bureau, Prairie Farms Dairy
Corp., and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic
Church in St. Rose with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment
will follow in St. Rose
Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, March 27,
2006 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 from
11:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to the Brock
Wilken Trust Fund and will be received at the funeral home. |
