Clint A. Rieger, 82, of Trenton, died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Countryside Manor in Aviston. 

Mr. Rieger was born November 28, 1924 in Summerfield to John and Esther (Schroeder) Rieger; they preceded him in death. 

He married Marian Perschbacher on February 15, 1947 at St. John United Church of Christ in Summerfield; she preceded him in death on May 6, 2004. 

Also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Korte. 

Surviving is his children, Mary Lou (Del) Lurtz of Fairview Heights, Karen Gibson of Anchorage, Alaska, Gary (Karen) Rieger of Trenton, John (Cheri) Rieger of Trenton, Robert (Ruth) Rieger of Trenton, Kathy Burris of Collinsville, and Mike Rieger of St. Maarten, N.A. 

10 Grandchildren-Rachel, Gretchen, and Trent Rieger, Craig (Lisa) Humphrey, Jay and Sara Rieger, Will and Wade Rieger, Brian (friend Liz) Bailey, and Adam (fiancée Jody) Bailey. 

A sister, Vera (Walter “Red”) Kuhn of Trenton. 

Clint worked at Jim’s Formal Wear in Trenton for the past 35 years. 

He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Summerfield where he served on the church council. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Summerfield with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating.  Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to St. John U.C.C., Summerfield and will be received at the funeral home.
