Lawrence W. Ripperda 84 of Frogtown died Saturday May 19, 2007 at Highland Healthcare Center. 

He was a farmer and retired from Hexacomb in Trenton and a member of St Dominic Church Breese.   . 

He was born March 6, 1923 in Breese to Henry and Cecilia (Bach) Ripperda.  They preceded him in death. 

He married Hildegard Ratermann November 26, 1946 and she died Oct. 29 1982. 

He is survived by 2 sons Ronald (Mary) Ripperda and James Ripperda all of Frogtown.  Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Amy Ripperda and Kristopher Ripperda and a great granddaughter Kinsley Ripperda, 3 brothers Alfred (Mary) Ripperda of Breese, Arthur Ripperda of Sorento, Paul Ripperda of Belleville, a sister Bernice (Vincent) Kuhl of Breese and a sister in law Rita Ripperda of Beckemeyer. 

He was preceded in death by brothers Louis and Valerius Ripperda. 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 22 at 11:30 Am at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment will be in St. Dominic St. Augustine Cemetery. 

Friends may call at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese Monday from 4 to 9 Pm and Tuesday from 8 to 11:15 Am.  Memorials can be made to St. Dominic Church or donor choice and will be received at the funeral home.
