Lavern
J. Rolfingsmeyer, 75, of Breese died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at
Carlyle Healthcare Center.
He was
born April 21, 1933 in Breese to August and Antoinette (Sommers)
Rolfingsmeyer: they preceded him in death.
Also
preceded in death by an infant son Joseph Rolfingsmeyer, Brothers
Eugene, Wilbert, Kenneth, Delbert Rolfingsmeyer, Sisters Dolores
Wieter, June Peppenhorst and Rita Walter, brother-in-law Vincent
Wieter.
He
married Mary Ann Jansen March 5, 1957 at St. Augustine Church in
Breese and she survives.
Also
Surviving is a son Gerard (Tammy) Rolfingsmeyer of Breese.
Daughters Geri (David) Smith of Aviston, Janet (Max) Uhls of
Highland, Julie (Dale) Haake of Germantown.

grandchildren Jennifer, David and Kyle Smith, Joey, Josh and Jordan
Uhls, Eric, Jessica and Bradley Haake, Christy Rolfingsmeyer,
Nathan, Zachary Graham.

was retired from Jefferson Smurfit in Highland.
Member
of St. Dominic Church and a Eucharistic Minister, Breese American
Legion Post 252, Breese Knights of Columbus Council #2869.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday January 19 at 11:00
am at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter
officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 18 from 4 to 9 PM and
Monday January 19 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in
Breese.
Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High school, St. Dominic Church
or Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
Breese
American Legion will hold services at 7:00 pm; Breese K of C will
pray the Rosary at 7:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home. |
