Mabel Ruth, 91 of Trenton died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Clinton Manor, New Baden, IL 

She was born May 31, 1917 in Trenton to William and Amelia (Schaefer) Ranz; they preceded her in death 

Married LeRoy Ruth on February 19, 1938 in Trenton; he preceded her in death on July 1, 1982.

Also preceded in death by brothers William (Emma) Ranz, Amel (Doris) Ranz, Elmer Ranz, Troy (Virginia) Ranz, Leroy Ranz, Wesley Ranz, son-in-law Alvin Schmitt, brother-in-law and sister-in-laws Floyd and Lucille Fiedler, Ralph and Grace Ruth, Melvin and Kathryn (Ruth) Peters 

She is survived by her children Dolores (Elton) Leppke of Carrington, ND, Gwen (Bernard) Feldt of Trenton, IL, Gail Ruth of Trenton, IL and Janelle Schmitt of Trenton, IL  

Sisters Bernice (Sydney) Bild of Chicago, IL 

Sister-in-law Flossie Ranz of Trenton, IL and Marie Ranz of Hunington, AR 

Special nephew James (Betty) Ruth of Breese, IL 

11 Grandchildren  Clifford, Gary (Lisa) Leppke, Barbara (Tom) Leppke-Hennig, Mark (Fiancée Susan Nwoke) Leppke, Laura, Brian (Marie) and Andrea Feldt, Douglas (Jean) Ess and Debra (Aaron) Maue; Cheryn (special friend Evan Burns) and Roy Schmitt. 

12 Great-grandchildren:  Ian and Paige Leppke; Brianna Higgins (special friend Charles Chatman), Madelyn, Sophia, Michael and Melia Feldt; Lindsey and Kristen Ess; Abigail, Faith and Sydney Maue

Member of Grace Community Baptist Church, St-Clair County Home Bureau, and Emerald Mound Grange 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 am at Grace Community Baptist Church, Trenton, IL, with Reverend Vallen Prest officiating with Mr. Milton Luginbuhl.   Interment Summerfield Cemetery 

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 4 to 8pm and Wednesday, October 15 from 8 to 9:45am at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton
