Eugene J. “Mickey” Schoendienst, 88, of Germantown died Wednesday November 15, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

He was born April 20, 1918 in Germantown to Joseph and Mary (Schlarmann) Schoendienst: they preceded him in death  

Also preceded in death by Brothers Julius “Charlie” Schoendienst, Elmer “Yonner” Schoendienst, a sister Loretta Billhartz, brother-in-law Victor Billhartz, sisters-in-law Mary Schoendienst, Martha Book 

He married Loretta “Toots” Hermeling June 28, 1950 at St. Cecilia Church in Bartelso and she survives in Germantown 

Also surviving are brothers Andrew “Ducks” (Vera) Schoendienst of O’ Fallon, Albert “Red” Schoendienst of St. Louis, MO, Joseph (Irene) Schoendienst of St. Charles, MO 

Sisters-in-law Stella Schoendienst-Jeffries of Germantown, Laveta Schoendienst of St. Louis 

Mickey was a retired Laborer. An Army veteran of WWII.  

Mickey enjoyed Dancing, golfing, fishing and traveling 

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown, American Legion Post 325 in Germantown, Retired Volunteer Fireman of the Germantown Fire Department serving for 25 years. 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday November 18, 2006 at 11:00 am St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Fr. Stephen Humphrey officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Friday November 17 from 4 to 9 Pm and on Saturday November 18 form 8:30 am to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Germantown American Legion will hold services Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
