Robert B. Schoene 78 of Trenton died Sunday August 10, 2008 at his residence 

He was born November 21, 1929 in Trenton to Russell and Wilma (Kuhn) Schoene; they preceded him in death 

He married Harriet Holznagel June 18, 1955 in Arlington Heights, IL and she survives in Trenton 

Also Survivng are his children Virginia Schoene of Greenville, Carole Schoene of Killeen TX, Kathy Schoene of Belleville and Russ Schoene of Bellevue WA 

A granddaughter Makena Schoene 

A brother Don (Barb) Schoene of Pittsboro NC 

Sisters-in-law Genevieve Holznagel of Arlington Heights, Shirley (Bob) Whitecliff of Gerlach NV 

Brothers-in-law Jerry (Betty) Holznagel of Holcombe WI, Ron (Judi) Holznagel of Schaumburg, Harold (Pat) Holznagel of Kernersville, NC 

Robert was a retired farmer, an U.S. army veteran 

Member of First United Methodist Church and Methodist Men in Trenton, American Legion Post 778 Trenton 

Funeral service Thursday August 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church in Trenton with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating Interment Trenton Cemetery 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 13 from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday August 14 from 8 to 10:15 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton 

American Legion will hold service Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home 

Memorials can be First United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association and will be received at the funeral home
