Laura A. Schuette (nee Buehne), 96,
of St. Rose, died Saturday September 27, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital
in Breese.
Mrs. Schuette was born September 3,
1912 in St. Rose to S. N. and Anna (Beckmann) Buehne; they preceded
her in death.
She married Bernard S. Schuette on
February 27, 1935 at St. Rose Catholic Church; he preceded her in
death on July 17, 1979.
Also preceded in death by a son,
Bernard Joseph Schuette; a Grandson, Daniel VonderHaar and wife
Tanya and their three children (great-grandchildren), Travis,
Melinda, and Brady VonderHaar; brothers, Lawrence Buehne, August
Buehne, and Henry Buehne; and sisters, Emma Schumacher, Bertha
Henrichs, Ida Buehne, and Eugenia Buehne.
Surviving are daughters, JoAnn
(Edward) VonderHaar of St. Rose, Jeanette (Aloys) Timmermann of St.
Rose, Mary Louise (Lavern) Thuenemann of Trenton, and sons, Paul F.
(Susan) Schuette of Pocahontas and Robert (Pam) Schuette of St.
Rose.

enjoyed cooking, cards, and bingo.
She was a member of St. Rose
Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, Daughters of Isabella Precious
Blood Circle 718, St. Rose Senior Citizens, and CHFS (Catholic Holy
Family Society)
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic
Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow
in St. Rose
Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday,
September 30, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, October
1, 2008 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese
Memorials can be made to St. Rose
Church and will be received at the funeral home.
The Daughters of Isabella will pray
the rosary at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. |
