Walter C. “Corky” Schulte, 62, of Breese, died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at his residence

 He was born December 4, 1941 in Breese to Walter and Evelyn (Rolfingsmeyer) Schulte; they preceded him in death

 Also preceded in death by his step-father Edward Dust, a brother, Bradley Dust, A brother-in-law Carl Reidemann, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Estelle “Nooks” Deien 

He married Darlene “Darts” Deien on April 25, 1962 at St. Augustine Catholic Church; she survives in Breese 

Also surviving are sons Jeffrey (Dorise) Schulte of Breese, Joseph (Lynn) Schulte of Germantown, Jonathan (Tracy) Schulte of Germantown,

A Daughter Janel (Scott) Mueller of Sahuarita, AZ  

Grandchildren-Morgan and Heather Schulte, Joshua and Brooke Schulte, Hunter and Hannah Schulte, Christopher Thole, Jordan and Kendra Mueller

 A brother Marvin (Jane) Schulte of Breese

 A Sister Donna Reidemann of Greenville

 Corky was a mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service in St. Louis, and was a mail carrier in Breese for 22 Years

 He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Men’s Sodality, Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, Member of the Breese Fire Department where he was an instructor for CPR and First Aid, and Breese Rod and Gun Club

 Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 10 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Tuttle Officiating.

 Visitation will be Monday, October 25, 2004 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 from 8 to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

 In Keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated

 Breese Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 7 PM Monday Evening at the Funeral Home

 Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School of All Saints Academy and will be received at the funeral home
