Donald K. Schulte, 64, of Breese, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville

 He was born December 28, 1940 in Breese to John and Hilda (Krieger) Schulte; they preceded him in death

 Also preceded in death by brothers Nelson Schulte, Raymond Schulte, Lavern Schulte, John “Junie” Schulte, Clinton “Slick” Schulte, Robert Schulte, Milford “Beansoup” Schulte

 He married Sharon K. Manhart on September 8, 1962 at First United Methodist Church in Carlyle; she survives in Breese

 Also surviving are sons Jerry “Cheetah” (fiancée April) Schulte of Breese and Eddie (Tammy) Schulte of Marine

 3 Grandchildren-Rachael Schulte, Ronny and Amanda Wick 

3 Great-Grandchildren- Hailey Hood, Rebecca and Elizabeth Wick

 A brother, Gerald “Shots” (Carol) Schulte of Breese

 A half-sister, Henrietta Schilling of Cottage Hills

 Sisters-in-law, Charlene Schulte of Breese, Sylvia Schulte of St. Louis, Mary Lou (Ed) Hensen of Highland, Johanna Schulte of Breese, Shirley (Stan) Feldmann of Damiansville, Janet Schulte of Maine 

Donald retired from Bassler Electric in Highland where he was a Tool and Dye Maker, and was the cemetery caretaker of St. John’s Cemetery in Breese

 He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ

 In keeping his wishes his body was cremated

 Memorial service will be Friday May 20, 2005 at 10 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Breese with Rev. W. Dale Starr officiating.  Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Breese

 Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 4 to 9 PM and again on Friday, May 20, 2005 from 8 to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the St. John’s Cemetery Fund and will be received at the funeral home
