Leo H. Schulte 84 of Germantown died Wednesday September 21, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. He was born June 20, 1921 in Albers to George and Christine (Beckmann) Schulte: they preceded him in death

 He married Clara Hermeling November 20, 1946 at St. Boniface Church, Germantown and she preceded him in death December 1, 1987

 He then married Leona Wuebbels September 8, 1995 at St. Boniface Church, Germantown and she survives in Germantown

 He was preceded in death by  a son Valentine Schulte, a daughter Judith Ann Schulte, step-daughter Mary Ellen Wuebbels, a son-in-law Andy Ratermann, a brother Joseph Schulte, a sister Alvina Albers, brothers-in-law Raymond Hermeling, Edwin Hermeling, Aloys Albers, Raymond Michels, Raymond Schwaegel

 Surviving are three sons Bob (Sandy) Schulte of Albers, Maurice (Karen) Schulte of Centralia, Leo (Sharon) Schulte Jr.

 Four daughters Kathy (Vince) Winkeler of Bartelso, Doris (Marvin) Toennies of Damiansville, Barb Ratermann of Germantown, Darlene (Butch) Loepker of Bartelso

 Step sons Donald Wuebbels of Mesa AZ, Wayne Wuebbels of Germantown

 Brothers Lawrence (Dolores) Schulte of Germantown, Hugo (Arlene) Schulte of Belleville 

Sisters Loretta Kudrna of Meza AZ, Clare (Bob) Kohrmann of Germantown, Helen (Ralph Tonnies of Breese, Dorothy (Norman) Wilke of Belleville, Alice (Leo) Speichinger of O’Fallon 

Brother-in-law Raymond (Florence) Roberg of Shiloh 

Sisters-in-law Helen (Ferd) Von Bokel of New Baden, Magdeline Hermeling of Belleville, Catherine Jackson of Carlyle, Caroline Wuebbels of Belleville, Eleanor (Paul) Bertleson of Belleville, Margaret Bertleson of Belleville

 Leo was retired from farming. An Army Veteran of World War II 

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Men’s Sodality, Germantown. Germantown American Legion Post 325, Clinton County Farm Bureau

 Funeral mass Friday September 23, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Fr. Henry Fischer officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery

 Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept. 23 from 4 to 9 Pm and on Friday Sept. 24 from 8 to10:45 am at the Mss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Memorials can be made to Relay for Life or Donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home
